Tree Planting
Tree planting is a vital strategy for mitigating climate change and promoting environmental sustainability. We are establishing women-led nurseries that are providing a sustainable source of seedlings for tree planting projects while also generating income for the women groups in our programs.
We Educate
Education and adult education are critical for building climate resilience and empowering individuals to take action. By providing access to education, we are equipping women with the knowledge and skills to address the challenges of climate change and create a more sustainable future.
FGM/C and Climate Change
Climate change can exacerbate existing vulnerabilities to FGM/C, such as poverty, food insecurity, and social marginalization. By addressing both the root causes of FGM/C and the impacts of climate change and through empowering women and building climate resilience, we can create a more just and sustainable future for all.
A better world for the Women
Kajiado County, a semi-arid region in Kenya, faces numerous challenges, including poverty, drought, and limited access to education and healthcare. These challenges disproportionately affect women and girls, who often find themselves marginalized and excluded from decision-making processes. Recognizing the critical role of women in community development, Hope Beyond Foundation has made it a priority to empower women in Kajiado County.
Our mission is to create a more equitable and sustainable future for women and their families in Kajiado County. We believe that by providing women with access to education, vocational training, and economic opportunities, we can break the cycle of poverty and empower them to become self-sufficient. Our programs focus on a holistic approach to women's empowerment, addressing their needs in areas such as education, health, economic development, and leadership.
Through our various initiatives, we provide women with opportunities to acquire new skills and knowledge, improve their livelihoods, and participate meaningfully in their communities.
Our programs include adult literacy classes, vocational training in various trades, microfinance loans, and community development projects. By investing in women's empowerment, we are not only improving their lives but also contributing to the overall development and well-being of Kajiado County
